When you select the Signup form workflow, you’ll have access to all the steps required to create your signup form. You’ll be able to modify the visual of each page, add your logo and custom fields.
First, just enter the signup form info and take a look at the diagram. After clicking Save and Continue, you'll have access to each step of this worlflow.
When clicking on the blue edit button at the top right corner of each page, a preview of the page with different options will open. You can click on Factory Reset to reset the design or customize design to change some aspects. There is also an option to redirect to a link if you have a form on a website that is ready to be used. Copy-paste the link to your form in the box at the bottom of the page.
When clicking on Factory Reset, you’ll have to accept the warning before it will take you back to the “steps” pages, then you’ll be able to go modify the next steps of the signup workflow.
Customize design : where you can modify all visual aspects of the page. You can import a logo and adjust it. “Identification” refers directly to the information found in your account profile, you can still add more to it, but you should keep the account information. Change the title of the form and in that last section, add or remove fields under the tab form. Check the box if you want the field to appear on the form and the second box if you want this field to be mandatory. When a field is mandatory, a person signing up to your list has to enter information in this field. Under the tab Body: adjust the text color, the size, the font and the background color. Under the tab button: change the text color, the background color, the font family, the font size, the button width, the border radius and the position of the button. Finally, under the Theme: you can select a theme for the whole form.
Once the visual is done, click on save and continue at the bottom of the page. You will then be back at the first page where you can choose to modify the rest of the signup workflow.
The same goes for the signup request thank you page, to redirect to an existing page, check the box Redirect to an external web page and insert the link. For this page, you have access to the classic editor, you can easily modify the text of this page. Click Save and continue to get back to the steps page to be able to continue customizing the next pages/emails.
It is always the same process for the following pages. Once you customize every page, click on Activate Workflow. The last step is similar to the last step of a normal campaign.
When you click on Activate, you will have to select an option for the deactivation of the workflow, either de-activate it on a date or never. Once a workflow is activated, you won’t be able to modify it unless you pause the workflow. Be sure you are done with the changes you wanted to be done in any email from this workflow.
