Content: Refers to dynamic content. It consists of material you want to create once but use many times in the future. Dynamic content appears as snippets, which references an article of content into the message.
Message: This is the heart of your newsletter. It's where all dynamic content, personalization fields, links, images and everything else is assembled to create your newsletter.
Campaign: This is the E-mail in its entirety that your subscribers will receive.
Campaign Report: is the report after the mailing of your campaign. With it, you can see the number of messages delivered, opened, clicked on and so much more. These results are what you will use to establish future campaigns that will have more and more impact.

Appendix A.2: Churn of lists over time
Once your campaign is sent, some email addresses will generate temporary or permanent bounces. eFlyerMaker is equipped with a Virtual suppression list.
VSL – The Virtual Suppression List
Do note that if your subscriber list is not clean or up to date, the number of subscribers delivered to will decrease steadily over time, this is because addresses that are no longer active will provoke a permanent bounce and be added to a virtual suppression list. Future campaigns won’t be sent to emails addresses that are no longer active.
When your campaign is sent, some email addresses in your list will generate temporary or permanent bounces. Take note that eFlyerMaker has a virtual suppression list.
Permanent bounces will not be targeted by your future campaigns because those email addresses don't exist anymore. Yet, these addresses will remain in your original list.
This is why, over time, you will notice your "delivered to" numbers will be considerably smaller than the number of subscribers in your list. Do not be alarmed, this is normal, especially if you are using a list that is not well maintained and updated.
Soft Bounces turn to Permanent Bounces
Beware, if the same target address generates a temporary bounce more than 3 times, this address will become a permanent bounce and will be added to the virtual suppression list.
Active Portion of the subscriber list used, decreases over time Emails in the VSL will no longer be sent in future Campaigns, and as such, will no longer be seen in your Campaign Reports.
Example:
Campaign 1:
• Targeted List: 5000 subscribers
• Temporary bounce: 50
• Permanent bounce: 50
• Delivered: 4900
Campaign 2:
• Targeted List: 5000 subscribers (same list)
• Temporary bounce: 50
• Permanent bounce: 0
• Delivered: 4900
Why 4900? Because the 50 Permanent bounce in the previous campaign are now registered in the VSL and are no longer counted by the software. So it actually started at 4950 and not 5000.
Therefore, in the normal course of events or if your subscriber list is outdated, the active portion of your subscriber list sent in future campaigns is lower than the original list size.
The Suppression list is virtual
Since the VSL is not visible in the eFlyerMaker interface, some users complain that the numbers don’t add up. The reason being is that the system is smart, and doesn’t keep sending your campaigns to addresses that no longer exist.
If your subscriber list is not “clean” and well maintained, this effect will be exaggerated. Since old lists will have plenty of addresses that are no longer active and will permanently bounce. Even Email inboxes that are full will cause soft bounces that become permanent bounces and as such, are signs of inactivity.
Churn is normal
All good things come to an end, your Email prospects and client lists will naturally experience churn, so it’s important to always find new candidates to add to your lists. In the list importation process duplicates are automatically removed, and inactive addresses (permanent or « hard » bounces) are automatically added to the suppression list.
